Living in Terrell Hills
Terrell Hills takes its name from Frederick Terrell, a bank president and 1901 San Antonio mayor who sold the land to a private association in 1919. In 1945 the town successfully went to court to block San Antonio from annexing it without an election. Today it is a small, mostly residential city tucked against Alamo Heights, known for bigger lots than you find in much of the close-in north side, winding streets, and homes set back under mature trees.
With relatively few sales each year, every comparable carries a lot of weight, and the market here is easy to misread from online estimates.

Ask StefThe homes
Mostly single-family homes on larger lots, many built from the 1930s through the 1960s, with significant renovations and some new construction. Inventory is thin, so timing and presentation matter more than in high-volume areas.
With only a handful of Terrell Hills sales in a given season, I look at each comp individually. Online estimates tend to miss here.— Stefanie Parra
